It has been 392 days since the tournament in the desert has last been played. This event is always one of our favourites and with 2/3 of the big three not there and with so many “Next Gen” guys now making things tough on the field we should be in for a wild ride on the men’s side.
On the women’s side it is anyones event for the taking but I am going out on a limb and say, right here and now, that the Canadian who took this event and the US Open in 2019 is going to take it again.
It is so nice to have tennis back with the crowd so let’s sit back and enjoy this one.
