As we continue to grow in Enbrum/Russell we are also moving full steam ahead on the farm just east of downtown Ottawa. What do we want to bring to this new facility? Great products that make difference. We are deep in talks with a world-class group/academy in Europe to bring their brand and expertise here to Canada. We are currently under an NDA and working on an LOI to make this happen to the benefit of Canadian tennis. When it comes to courts in phase 1 we are working hard to have 8 indoor and 8 outdoor RedclayUSA courts. a performance gym, a parents’ lounge, and a video centre. Onsite education with a focus on climate change and global sustainability – We are speaking with many virtual, private, and public options for both onsite and off from grades 7-12.
Also, in phase 1 because of the farm aspect of our property, we will help change how foods are grown on farms. We truly believe that we can make a difference by leveraging perennial farming and food forests. Yes, we will have annual plants, fruits, and vegetables on the farm but the big goal is to help teach how we can bring back food forests and not only feed people but also save the human race from climate change.
We will not only provide an amazing tennis full-featured academy for locals and global guests but also a forest that pulls carbon out of the air heals our soils and feeds our community.
