Score Tennis Academy is currently looking for more tennis coaches.
Pay Range: $20 – $60 per hour, an extra hour is given for lesson planning each week. As Tennis Coach, you will lead a group of students through a weekly program. Openings are available in Ottawa and Embrun.
The scope of responsibilities and duties include:
- Leading the tennis program for a group of up to 6 to 8 players;
- Providing a high level of front line customer service including greeting and engaging participants;
- Communicating with participants in regards to lesson opportunities and safety;
- Ensuring all safety procedures (i.e., sign-in/sign-out, First Aid, headcounts, safe equipment use, etc.) are followed and enforced;
- Supervising and mentoring volunteers and assistants;
- Performing administrative duties in a timely manner (e.g., lesson plans, incident/accident reports, report cards);
- Maintaining a safe and tidy environment ensuring equipment is set up and stored appropriately;
- Demonstrate efficient problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Instructor Certification from Tennis Canada or higher;
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED from an accredited organization or provider;
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check;
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills;
- Outgoing, with the ability to engage children of all ages;
- Reliable team player.
